Menopause Yoga & Wellbeing Events

I am so excited to launch my Menopause Yoga & wellbeing events, which I have poured my life and soul into creating.

An initial workshop or retreat provides an introduction & overview to Menopause Yoga. 

Subsequent events will follow, each themed around a different stage of the menopause with its corresponding set of symptoms. You can choose to dip into one or two events or attend them all.

No previous Yoga experience or level of flexibility required.

My Story

MY STORY

I thought I had sailed through the menopause, for two main reasons…

💫 I didn’t suffer hugely from hot flushes or night sweats (the only symptoms I had really heard of) and when      I did, I didn’t recognise them for what they were.

💫 Life was far too busy and work too stressful for me to even think about the menopause - My physical          and mental health suffered hugely with frequent debilitating migraines, anxiety, overwhelm and                  insomnia but I just pushed on through. 

 Back then I really didn’t know what I didn’t know about the menopause!

Fast forward a few years and I started to become aware of a range of other symptoms, which this time I initially put down to ageing. About the same time I became interested in menopause yoga and in June 2023 I travelled to Bali to complete a Menopause Yoga Teacher Training Course with the wonderful Petra Coveney of Menopause Yoga TM.  I am forever grateful to Petra for sharing her depth of knowledge and wisdom on this life changing course. It was only whilst reading and studying for the course, with one revelation after another and several  lightbulb moments, that I truly discovered my own personal menopause journey and realised that all the symptoms which I experienced in the past and now are part of this.  

I wish I had been better prepared and knew everything beforehand that I know now. However I have also realised that some of my early symptoms were in fact valuable messages from my body which led me to make several lifestyle changes, which I believe in turn, helped me to seemingly ‘sail through’.

 

And that has become my ‘why & purpose'...

...to share all I have learned (through study and personal experience) in the hope of empowering and supporting other women to take control and be in a better, informed place to manage their symptoms. 🌟

MENOPAUSE YOGA

Menopause Yoga takes a holistic approach and draws upon Western medical science and Eastern wellbeing practices, offering information and facts and a toolkit of techniques to empower & support women as they navigate their own menopause journey. (Recognising that everyone's journey is unique).

Workshops are aimed at women who are approaching or going through the menopause (from peri-menopause to postmenopause) and who wish to learn more about symptoms, what is happening to their body and what support & treatment is available. A holistic approach will aim to support mind, body & soul.

Menopause Yoga also offers a wonderful opportunity to reframe menopause in a more positive light by drawing upon the wisdom of other cultures and embracing this stage of life. In my workshops you will discover how the stages of a woman's life are like the seasons of nature as we move from Summer to Autumn and Winter during the menopause, and then finally …
